mLearning
Training... Anytime, Anywhere!
Do you ever wish you could make better use of idle time? Short train journeys where there isn't time or space to pull out a laptop... waiting for a dentist appointment... sitting at the bus stop (where the use of a laptop is impossible)...
mLearning stands for "mobile learning". For some, this means "any training delivered while a person is not in a fixed location". For us, it stands for training that is delivered using any mobile device, such as PDAs, iPhones, Blackberry, iPads or iPods, Windows Mobile devices, and even ordinary mobile phones with no web browsers. What typically sets this type of learning apart from eLearning is the design: less content per screen, animations that fit on small screens, and lower-bandwidth options. Most organisations have users with many different types of devices, and we use the latest software and deployment strategies to ensure our materials can be delivered to any device.
Some of our customers request that we develop the materials using XML, which allows the "write the content once, but deploy to multiple formats" approach.
